Charlene Isaacs

Charlene was born in Gainesville, TX, on August 17, 1938, to Grace and Charles Links. Her family moved to Lubbock almost immediately after her birth, and she spent most of her young life here. Charlene attended school in Lubbock.

Charlene married Bill Everheart in 1959. They had four children.

Charlene remarried in 1984 to John Isaacs from Albuquerque, NM. They lived in New Mexico for several years before returning to Lubbock. Charlene had an encounter with God that transformed her life, and she was set free from substance dependence! Charlene loved the Gospel, but because of her infirmities had to worship from her residence.

Charlene is survived by her husband, John; children: Steve Everheart, Bryan Everheart, Linda Perkins, and Vicky Hoeffner and her husband, Travis; stepchildren: Billy Isaacs, Elizabeth Miller, and was preceded in death by David Isaacs in 2005. She leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Charlene was loved by all who knew her, and she impacted many lives for the better. She passed in her daughter’s home surrounded by family.
