You sure are missed Uncle June! I didn't get to spend to much time with you and sure wish I could have spent more. Life is to short. I know your having a blast up there with Grandpa and Elaine and everybody else! It's not the same without you here with us but one day we will be able to see each other again. We miss and love you Uncle June!

Charlie was a good friend and neighbor to Jack and I.There were many times Jack didnt know how to fix something and Charlie was the first to offer help with the electricity or farm equipement and most of all his know how and experience. To The Jones Family:  

We'd see "Uncle June" at (my younger sister) Annette and Roy's place, i.e., during their Annual July 4th BBQ-and-Fireworks;  and it was always just............ *so relaxing* to simply be IN Uncle June's very kindly and laid-back presence!!

It sure won't be the same without Uncle June, you know............ i.e., in a way, he really was kind of an "Uncle June" to all of us, simply by his good, solid presence............ which (through-the-years) was such a special and treasured "grounding force" for us all............ particularly in our very busy (and often very far-flung!) lives.     

We're so very sorry for your loss;  and May The Soul Of Dear Uncle June Rest In Eternal Peace............

Everyone called Charles "June" for short, because he was Charles Frederick Jones Junior. We had a small family. Mother's family was in Germany, so we spent many nights with Uncle June and Granny. There were four of us, and we were there many weekends. We could eat all the icecream and cookies we wanted. We watched many westerns and old movies. We dug many holes making cities in the red dirt in front of their house. The best sandbox ever! Thank you Uncle June for those times. I loved it when you came to our Sunday dinners and told us stories of the past. Your engineering mind was so sharp, and you never lost that. Thank you for all the televisions,ceiling fans, and VCR's you repaired for us. I love you and will miss you. You will be with me alwlays. Have a great time with Jesus, Daddy, Granny, Aunt Nonie, Elaine, Homer Lee, and Uncle B. We will see you soon.  You are suffering no more. Love, Valerie

We called him "Uncle June".  When he was younger he loved to fish and work on radio communication equipment and in his retirement he began competition shooting and gun collecting. "Uncle June"  worked hard as a master electrician and he was very proud of his trade. He would always tell me about the jobs he did when he was with Joe Fry Electric and Tarver Electric. I heard the same stories most of my life and I could repeat most of them. He was honest and fair and never asked anything from anyone. While he was in the hospital and the care center the nurses always commented how "Nice" he was. If you asked him if he need something he would simply say No. Thankfully he was never sick and never had any major accidents in his life. "Uncle June "  had a Good Life and we are going to miss him at all of the holiday parties and special events.
