

He is survived by his nephew Tom “Robbie” Ausley of Austin, TX: niece Ginger Stephens of Lewisville, TX; and his five stepchildren: Libby Sedberry of Colorado Springs; Cathe Welborn (David) of Moore; Dolly DeBusk (Wayne) of Hays; Kelley Thompson (Marilyn) of Omaha; and Julie Lewelling (Randy) of Lubbock. In addition, he is survived by 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Vienna, Austria as an MP. He retired from Pioneer Natural Gas (now known as Atmos Energy). His hobbies were landscaping, photography, and racquetball. He loved traveling around the world visiting many different places and cultures. He loved to have conversations with people about their interests and would talk and ask questions ensuring a lengthy conversation. He had a laugh anyone that knew him would recognize.
Heath and Joyce were long time members of First Methodist Church. His youngest stepdaughter and her family have been his caregivers for the last 16 years.
Celebration of life services for Charles Heath Raymer and Catherine Joyce Raymer are pending at a later date.
