Services for Charlotte O’Connell, 77 of Ransom Canyon will begin with a viewing held at Resthaven from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1st, followed by service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2nd in Resthaven Abbey Chapel.
Mrs. O’Connell passed away June 28th at home with family.
Charlotte was born January 24, 1948 in Hobbs N.M. to Aleine Greene.
She attended Draughn’s Business School where she met the love of her life Jimmy O’Connell. She had a career at LISD, Texas Tech Bookstore, and Director at Slaton Senior Center. She was a founding member of Lubbock Mustang Club where she was Secretary Treasurer.
She enjoyed family time, camping, shopping, bingo, and driving fast in her Mustang.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy O’Connell and mother Aleine Greene.
Survivors include her son Robert O’Connell and his wife Delilah O’Connell; 2 Granddaughters Amber and Amanda; 3 Great Grandchildren Noah, Jeana, and Cruz.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Slaton Senior Center and Interim Hospice.
