Clair Adams, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 25th in Lubbock. She was born June 18, 1940, in Childress Texas to Orville and Geveva Bryant. Clair married Bobby Adams July 13, 1956 in Estelline, TX. She and Bobby moved to the Bridwell Ranch in Crosbyton in 1958 and stayed on the ranch until they moved to town in 1984. Clair owned a retail store in Crosbyton and was an excellent seamstress.
Clair is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Bobby; two sons, Alan Adams and Casey, and Kerry Adams and wife Sherri; grandchildren Kaysee Finch and late husband Dean and their two sons Bentley and Paxton, Kennah Alexander and husband Stephen and their daughter Charlee, Kyler Adams and wife Dakota, Kelby Phillips and Keely Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 29th at 11:00 am at the Methodist Church in Crosbyton.
