Cleon William Namken, 59, passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015 in Pagosa Springs, CO. He was born January 15, 1956 in San Angelo, TX to Myron and Mabel Namken. He married Margaret Ann Gallaway November 7, 1981. Cleon graduated from Texas Tech as an Agriculture Engineer. He became a Texas NRCS State Irrigation Engineer in December 1983.
Cleon enjoyed golfing, skiing and his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Lubbock; daughter Kimberly Ann Huddleston and husband Jared and grandchildren, Alexis, Cheyenne, Dakota and Anthony all of Cypress, TX; sisters, Myra Morgan of Denver, CO and Melva Gloden of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Russell Namken of Arlington TX and Jerry Namken of Dumphries, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lannis Namken.
Visitation will be Monday January 26, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 27 at 1 pm in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
