Cletha A Hooper

Cletha was born and raised in Whiteface, Texas, where she graduated in 1952. That same year, she married the love of her life, Tollie “T.C.” Hooper, on December 5, 1952, in Lovington, New Mexico. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion that spanned more than seven decades.

Cletha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in her family. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories through her warmth, strength, and unwavering love.

She is survived by her husband, Tollie “T.C.” Hooper of Lubbock, Texas; her daughter, Stacie Allgood of Wolfforth, Texas; her grandchildren, Laura Doughty of Fort Mill, South Carolina, DeAnda Blaize of Midland, Texas, Katy Barnett of Katy, Texas, Nikki Baker of Monahans, Texas, and Trey Allgood of Barstow, Texas; as well as seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bessie Burt; her brother, David Burt; and her son, Michael Hooper.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Abby Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas.

Cletha will be remembered for her enduring love, her dedication to family, and the legacy she leaves behind in all who knew and loved her.
