Clyde Eugene Gill, 89, passed away Tuesday March 12, 2013 in Lubbock. He was born September 2, 1923 to Charlie and Mamie Gill in Lubbock. He married Faye Cummins June 1, 1944. Clyde served 2 years in the US Marine Corp. He was a farmer and had been a car salesman. He was a charter member of Vandelia Church of Christ and taught Bible for 52 years. Clyde was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Faye of Lubbock; 3 daughters, Linda Moss and husband Bob of Breckenridge,TX, Pamela Brand and husband David of Honeoye Falls, NY and Sharon Siebert and husband Mike of Eastland, TX; one son Cirby Gill of Lubbock; one sister, Doris Jorgensen of Lubbock; one brother Gaylon Gill of Houston; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight March 13, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 14 at Resthavens Abbey Chapel at 10 am with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
