Conrad Eugene Jenkins, 86, of Lubbock, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016. He was born October 31, 1929 in Greenfield, Missouri, a son to the late James Ira and Mabel Winnie (Duffy) Jenkins. Conrad graduated High School in Springfield, Missouri, and served his country in the United States Air Force. Conrad met and married Wanda Louise O’Connor December 26, 1954.
He had a career in Bookkeeping and Sales, having worked for Anderson Box Company, S & A Manufacturing, and had also been the Office Manager for Joseph Gallo. He had a passion for bowling. Conrad was a member of Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Jenkins, three daughters; Connie (Keith) Brown of Turlock, CA, Linda (Chris) Waite and Janet (Larry) Thurne, all of Lubbock, four grandchildren; Tiffany and Stephany Brown, Jared Eugene (Sarah) Thurne, Lacey Thurne and two great-grandchildren, a sister, Virginia “Susie” Kincheloe of Sprinfield, MO, and two brothers; Bobby Jenkins of Columbia, MO and Larry Jenkins, of Fairgrove, MO.
