Dixie McNeely, 88, passed away Saturday July 14, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born March 7, 1924 in Oklahoma to George and Dora Choate. Dixie graduated from Patton Springs High School and attended Gregg’s Business College in Lubbock. Dixie married C. B. “Jack” McNeely November 27, 1941 in Lubbock. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was a bookkeeper for Jack’s business, McNeely Auto Service.

Dixie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jack; son Kyle McNeely and his wife Karen; 2 grandchildren, Tara Clinton and husband Larry and Justin McNeely; 2 sisters, Jessye Spieckerman and Laquita Cameron. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be tonight July 16 from 5 to 7 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday July 17 at 10 am in Westminster Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
