Born on June 19, 1935, Dale lived a life defined by love for Jesus Christ, his family, and the quiet strength of his character. He was known for his patience, kindness, and deep understanding of others. Those who knew him best would say his greatest strength was his love and care for his family. Dale was the soul of the Travis family, providing guidance, stability, and unwavering support throughout his life.
He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Brenda Clair Travis, whose partnership and companionship were central to his life. Together, they built a family grounded in love and devotion.
Dale is survived by his wife, Brenda Clair Travis, and their children: Dale Vernon Travis II, James Beck Travis, and Lori Travis Steele. His legacy lives on through them and through the values of patience, compassion, and family that he instilled in all who knew him.
In accordance with Dale’s wishes, his life will be celebrated with a public gathering where friends and loved ones are invited to share memories and honor the life he lived.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeridge Chapel on Thursday, March 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All who knew Dale are warmly invited to attend.
A private burial ceremony will follow for his immediate family.
Dale will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave so freely to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the example he set and the family he cherished will carry his spirit forward for generations.
