

Graveside services for Danny Michael (Dan) Keesee will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, November 5, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Dan died following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, in Lubbock.
He was born in Lubbock to William Jefferson Keesee and Freda (Capshaw) Keesee on March 3, 1944, and graduated from Lubbock High School, prior to joining the Navy. Dan served in the Vietnam War before coming home.
He is survived by his wife, Paula (Stapleton) Keesee, one daughter and son-in-law, Cami D’Ann and Reid Bannon of Irving, Texas, one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dean and Kimberly Keesee of Lubbock and three grandchildren, Kayleigh Keesee, Courtney Keesee and Nicholas Keesee of Lubbock. He is also survived by one sister and her husband, Pat and Kerry Moore of Muleshoe, one niece, Pat Pratt, three nephews, Bob Howell, Rod Howell, and Bill Howell all of Minnesota. In addition he is survived by several aunts including Marie Smith of Idalou, Glenna Keesee of Lubbock, O’Theta Rogers and her husband, Boyd of Carlsbad, California, and Mozelle Young of California, and several cousins. His parents and sister, Jane Keesee Howell, preceded him in death.
Dan worked in commercial lighting and owned his own company for several years. He later worked for AT&T until he became disabled.
He enjoyed his family, many lifelong friends, and playing golf when he could prior to his disability.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice.
