Dana Lee (Anthony) Dear

A memorial service for Dana Lee (Anthony) Dear, 42, of Wolfforth, will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday at Bacon Heights Baptist Church on 56th and Slide. A graveside service will follow the memorial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Dana went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 12, 2010. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and wife. Dana was born in Lubbock, on January 22, 1968. She graduated from Robert Lee High School in 1986 and Texas Tech in 1990 with a B.S. in Education.

Her first teaching job was in Floydada as an elementary teacher for 2 years, then Northridge Elementary and Westwind Elementary with Frenship ISD for 18 years. She was a devoted teacher who loved her students and faculty family.

She married Marc Dear in June of 1996 in Lubbock. They have two children Justin 12, and J’Nae 8.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 13 years, her two children, her parents Max and Jen Anthony of Idalou, brother Quint Anthony and family of Greenwood, brother Cody Anthony and family of Paradise and a host of family and friends.
