David Joe Bailey

David was a hardworking and capable man who approached life with determination, generosity, and a practical spirit. He worked in carpentry and various trades, including Ready Built Housing and National Pump Company. Known for his ability to solve problems and work with his hands, David was someone others could depend on. He was always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, and use his experience to help those around him.

Family was an important part of David’s life. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, stepfather, and friend who shared many years with his wife, Charlotte Lee Warren. His care was often shown through simple but meaningful acts—being present, offering support, and giving his time. The love he shared with his family will live on in the memories they hold dear.

David is survived by his wife, Charlotte Lee Warren; his son, Cory McEntire; his stepchildren, Felicia McNitt, Jennifer Hill, and Joel Bewley; his sister, Donna Bailey; his stepbrother, David Halloway; and his grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Earl Bailey; his mother, Dorothy Allison Taylor; and his siblings, Bobby Bailey and Ricky Wilson.

David’s legacy will be remembered through the people he helped, the skills he shared, and the lasting example he set through his hard work and dependability. He made a difference in quiet, meaningful ways, leaving behind memories of his generosity, kindness, and willingness to be there for others.

Though his earthly journey has come to an end, David’s memory will continue through his family, friends, and all who were touched by his life. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of those who knew him.
