

David Ryan McAnally was born in San Antonio, TX on December 29, 1983, and passed February 14, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. He lived in Snyder, TX during his early years and attended Snyder Public Schools through high school. He was an honors student, drum major of the SHS Band and member of the French Club, graduating from Snyder High in 2002. He qualified for a Presidential Scholarship to Texas Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science in 2008. After graduation he worked for
ECOLAB in San Antonio, Sysco in Houston Corporate Headquarters, Dynamic Foods in Lubbock in Quality Assurance, and BPL Plasma in Lubbock. He also worked towards his Master's Degree through Kansas State University. Most recently he started his own LLC company to perform audits for businesses.
He traveled in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the US on business trips for the food company where he was employed. He was an avid reader and enjoyed studying science, dinosaurs, and fossils. He was also a foodie. Cooking and taste-testing gourmet cuisine, especially hot spicy dishes was a special satisfaction for him. He enjoyed time with his sons, family gatherings and trips, fishing, sailing, painting, and his pet dogs were also dear to him. He was a Star Wars and Star Trek enthusiast.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Ed and Cynthia McAnally of Snyder, his 2 sons Zach and Caleb McAnaIIy of Lubbock, his life partner Senaida Rodriguez of Lubbock, an Aunt Melissa Streetman of Tyler and cousins Elizabeth Dryden Martin of Grand Junction CO, Emily Hartsell of Tyler, Randall McAnally and Kristi McAnalIy White both of Brownwood.
A private graveside family service is planned under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.
