

Deloris was born September 9, 1939, in Teague, Texas to Callie Adele and Sim “Dub” Chavers. She was also lovingly raised by her stepfather, Ben Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Callie Martin, Ben Martin and Sim Chavers; brother Kim Chavers; sons Curtis Boyce and Douglas Boyce and grandson Derrick Boyce.
She is survived by her brother Denny Martin and wife Suzanne of Dallas; her children Ricky Boyce and wife Shelley ;Treva Thomasson and husband Ted; Shanda Krause and husband Greg all of Lubbock and Shannon Boyce and wife Charlene of Kerrville.
Deloris was thankful to have many grandchildren including Ashley Hartline and husband Toby; Amber Stravlo and husband Brandt; Tory Boyce and wife Shelley; Chance Thomasson; Stephanie Thomasson; Gage Krause; Chasity Clark and husband John; Blake Boyce and wife Sarah; Grayson Boyce and wife Kristina and Bryan Krause and wife Shelby along with 15 great grandchildren and 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Known as Mother of Many, Mom, Mother and Mama to her children and Grandma or Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deloris loved all six of her children deeply and always put their needs first.
Baptized on February 3, 1964, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her faith was central to her life. Her unwavering faith set a beautiful example for her family. Deloris had a deep love for the bible and enjoyed studying the scriptures and spoke often of how Jehovah helped her through life’s challenges. She loved studying the scriptures ,publications and videos on JW.ORG. Recently she especially enjoyed the book of Revelation, studying it verse by verse and sharing all she learned with her children. Always faithful at meetings and in the ministry through her life and in her later years she continued to faithfully attend meetings on Zoom and remained active in the ministry on Zoom and speaking to everyone she meets about her faith.
Her greatest loves were her deep love for Jehovah and her love for her children.
Deloris has lived her life faithful to Jehovah, always putting her trust in him. She passed away peacefully with the assurance that she would soon see the fulfillment of her favorite scripture at Isaiah 65:21-25.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 @1:00 p.m.
