Diane lived a life defined by faith, love, and dedication to others. A devoted Christian, her love for God was the foundation of her life, guiding her choices and sustaining her through every season. She carried her faith with quiet strength and grace, reflected in the words of scripture she held dear: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1).
On September 9, 1972, Diane married the love of her life, Steve Beloat. Together, they built a strong and loving family that remained the center of her world throughout living in Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico.
Diane began her career as a teacher, where she inspired and cared for many students. Later in life, she transitioned into real estate in Alto New Mexico, where her warm personality and genuine care for others made her both successful and deeply appreciated by her clients.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Diane found immense joy in spending time with her family and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She also had a vibrant personality and loved the simple pleasures in life—especially shopping and her fondness for shoes, which brought her both joy and a sense of fun. Her life echoed the promise of “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” (Proverbs 31:25).
Diane is survived by her loving children, Julie Stuckwish, her Son-in-law Shane Stuckwish, and Kristi Lenderman; her cherished grandchildren, Kaden Stuckwish, Kaleb Stuckwish, Jase Stuckwish, Katelyn Lenderman and Morgan Lenderman; and her sister-in-law’s, Cindy Mitchell, Jaynie Beloate, and Vickie Beloat-Shorter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Beloat; her parents, Elbert and Beulah Mitchell; Her brother, Lonnie Mitchell and In-laws Bill and Molee Beloat.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in God’s promise: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:23). Diane’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
