From our family to yours...we are so very sorry for your loss!  Diep was more than a business owner, he was a friend and like family to our family. My condolences to the family and friends of Diep. Diep, my family and I are so heartbroken, right now. You were a huge part of our lives for over 24-years. My sons loved to go to Tokyo. We went to eat there at every birthday, and any celebration, and simply because. You were our 'favorite' chef. You knew my kids by name and asked about them when they weren't there. You shared so many wonderful stories about your kids and life over the years. You literally lit up like a Christmas tree talking about your kids and your family. You gave us a VIP card because we were there so often. My brother and I, had lunch there recently, and you were our chef that day, we had the opportunity to talk and you were so funny talking about your first sports car, a Firebird, I believe. You said you were "fascinated" by how the headlights electronically opened and closed. You said you "loved that car". You talked about watching so many kids grow up, including mine. You talked about "retiring" to travel and spend more time with your kids and family. We talked about how short life is and how fast kids grow up. You stayed and talked to us long after you had finished cooking. I want your kids/family to know that you talked about them with so much love, caring and respect. Your dad - granddad, he was a 'good one'! He will be missed long after he is laid to rest. His spirit will live on. Thank you for sharing this great man with so many. May all of God's blessings and all of God's miracles shine on Diep's sweet, kind soul, forever and always.

We were so saddened to read of Diep's death.  My granddaughter Shelby Cox & his son Joshua were in school at Trinity from pre-school until graduation.  Every year on Joshua's Birthday thru the fourth grade Diep would have Joshua's entire class for lunch.  First time eating with chopsticks for most of the children.  He was a great Dad and totally supportive of his sons.  Eating at his Tokyo Steak House was always a treat and we were made to feel very special.  We are holding his sons close in our hearts during this sad time.  Blessings to his family.

Diep was a big part of my life for so long!! You will be missed greatly!
Rest well 

We are heartbroken and beyond saddened by the loss of Diep. He was such a sweet and funny man, and we always enjoyed watching him cook for us and his wonderful food. Diep will be greatly missed, and we wish all of the family and many friends countless blessings during this time of unexpected hardship.
