Domingo Acosta

Domingo Acosta, age 89 of Lubbock, TX left his earthly body to be with Jesus on December 17, 2020. He was born in Karnes City, TX to Indalecio Acosta and Paula Salazar on April 12, 1931. He married Lydia Garza Acosta in 1951.

Domingo leaves behind children: 2 daughters, Angie Escandon of Lubbock, TX, and Mary Anderson of Andrew TX; 3 sons: Domingo Acosta Jr. of Lubbock, TX , Alfredo Acosta and Indalecio Acosta of Ropesville TX; and sister, Martina Acosta of Temple TX.

Domingo will be missed by his 20 loving grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Garza Acosta; grandson, Johnny Ray Acosta; great-grandson, Mark Castro; and 2 sisters, Julia Perez and Ricarda Acosta.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, Steven and Martha Leyendecher officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to service.

Inurnment will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Park, Reverend Martin Piña celebrant. Please join us in celebrating the life of Domingo Acosta.
