Donald "Scott" Daniels

Scott passed away Tuesday April 22, 2025, at the age of 68 after a brief illness. Scott will be honored at a Memorial May 3rd, 2025, at 10:00AM at Resthaven Funeral Home with a Celebration of His Life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garvin Daniels. Mother Joyce Levaughn Daniels, an older brother Michael Daniels, and a younger sister Shannon Daniels Acosta. He is survived by an older sister Melanie Brooks of Lubbock and a younger brother Clarence Collin Daniels of Dallas, Texas.

Scott graduated from Coronado High, Lubbock, Texas in 1975. Scott worked for his dad for 10 years then went to South Plains College to become a radiographic technologist. Scott's biography was accepted for publication in the 17th annual edition of The National Dean's list. He was presented with a Departmental award in anatomy and Physiology Student of the Year. Scott was on the Presidents Honor Rolls while at South Plains College. Scott graduated and was certified as a Radiographer by The American Registry of

Radiologic Technologist. Scott was a member of the national organization of American Society of

Radiologic Technologists. Scott was recognized as an employee of the month, an employee of the year by the Covenant Health System and recognized for outstanding Performance as a Clinical Educator in the Radiologic Sciences during his tenure at Covenant. Scott was known for his kindness towards his fellow co-workers, friends, neighbors, students he mentored, and family. Scott was known for his love of fishing. He would always have fish stories and fish to share with his co-workers and neighbors. Scott worked for the Covenant Health System for 30 years. His nickname was 'Mr. Consistency". Scott had his favorite scriptures and his favorite prayer in his locker to give him strength and guidance each workday.

His hobbies were camping, fishing, volleyball, rock music, and Texas Tech Red Raider football games.

Scott will be missed by all his friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family. Rest in peace little brother.
