Doris Rogers

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie (Bud) Rogers and 2 sisters: Gay Nell Collins and Ruth Kasper.

She is survived by 3 sons: Jimmy (Paula) Rogers of Liberty Hill, Gary (Nann) Rogers of New Braunfels and Randy (Kelly) Rogers of College Station, 1 sister: Una Rae (Don) Mahaley of Waxahachie, 4 grandchildren: Justin (Sarah) Rogers of Bigelow, Ark., Dustin Rogers of Broken Arrow, Ok., Amanda Rogers of Houston, TX and Travis Rogers of College Station, 3 great grandchildren: Laura Beth, Brookelynn and Winn Rogers, and 1 brother-in-law: Alvy Collins of Ennis, TX.

Doris was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother great grand mother and sister. She retired from Avon in 2001 after

30 plus years. Doris was a devout Christian, she attended Monterey Baptist in Lubbock for 38 years. She moved to New Braunfels, TX. in 2001. She attended First Baptist in New Braunfels until her death.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Resthaven Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 16 at Resthaven Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Justin Rogers, Dustin Rogers, Travis Rogers, Danny Stockton, Scott Hensley and Kent Womack.
