Dorothy Lee Carpenter

She was born on November 11, 1946 to David Milburn and Ruby Lee Summers in Lubbock, TX where she resided until November 2017. Dorothy Lee was a beloved daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She never met a stranger and her smile would light up a room. She will be missed by all those she was acquainted with. She is a child of God and now is in his glorious kingdom.

Dorothy Lee is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Lee, father David Milburn, son Cody Dickey, her brothers Olin, Author and Harold Summers, and sister Fay Baker.

Her surviving members include her daughter Tammie Bunker, and husband Warren,of Corpus Christi, TX, sister Neta Case, brothers Ray and Howarth Summers of Lubbock. Grandchildren include Rusty and Kelsey Bunker, Devin Lee Bunker of Denver, Ashlyn Dickey of Casper ,WY, Jarron Dickey of Roundrock, TX, and Courtney and Will Cook of Alamogordo, NM. Her great grandchildren are Alysa, Shylyn, Caleb, Skylar, Anna, and Jada.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel in Lubbock. Visitation with the family will be at 11:00 am until time of service on Saturday. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
