Dorothy Faye Davis Hayes went home on May 24, 2014. Born in Lamesa, Texas August 4, 1927 to the daughter of Elgin and Sadie Davis. Dorothy known to many as Dot or Gram enjoyed her special time with her niece Joy Harkleroad and grandson Brent Arnett. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Edd Davis and Elgin Davis, sisters Beth Wright and Laurie Hubbord, husband Elmer and her daughter Laurie Lou Arnett. She is survived by her grandson Brent Arnett and his wife Ellie of San Angelo, Son Jerry Arnett and his wife Terry of Oregan, Linda Reed of Dallas, Sheila Alley and Nancy Pope of Colorado City and Larry Hayes and wife Ronda of San Angelo, and sister-in-law Louise Davis of Austin along with many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers association.
