Dorothy Nell McCarty

Later, she was an office manager for both Shelton Berry, CPA and Dwayne Swafford in mortgage services. Dorothy loved her church, Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served on the fellowship committee, as an Elder and also as Deacon.

She loved to play bridge and was a member of several local bridge clubs. Dorothy loved to work in her yard and was known for her cooking, most notably, her brownies.

The family would like to offer a special thank you for the Caregivers at Wedgewood South.

Dorothy is survived by two sons; Bart McCarty, Brad McCarty and wife, Gloria, a daughter; Pamela Beck and husband John, a beloved granddaughter, Meaghan Mueller, a sister-in-law, Melba Watson and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10 am at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Private interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
