Christensen, Douglas Cleat, 62, passed away Tuesday June 17, 2014 in a Lubbock hospital. He was born March 26, 1952 in Cook Co. Illinois to Robert and Betty Christensen. Douglas came to Lubbock in 1957 and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1971. He married Teresa Marie Jones November 26, 1983 in El Paso TX. He retired from TXDot after 27 years. Douglas was an active member of Christ the King Parish and the Knights of Columbus, Council 3008.
Survivors include his wife, Terri; sons Robby and Eric; brother, Dale and many loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia.
A Rosary will be said Friday, June 20, 2014 at 7 pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. A funeral mass will be said Saturday June 21 at 10 am in Christ the King Cathedral. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Nurturing Network. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com
