Elizabeth Hunter Moss

She attended Southwestern University in Memphis, Tennessee and was a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She married Dr. Ennis Moss, Jr. on June 24, 1944 in Memphis. They moved to Lubbock in 1951. She was a member of the Junior League of Lubbock and the Lubbock-Crosby-Garza Medical Alliance. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and served as a volunteer at the Second Baptist Sick Children’s Clinic for a number of years.

She was a devoted homemaker and is survived by her husband Dr. Ennis Moss, Jr., four children: Lee Moss and wife Linnie of Levelland, Carolyn Bartley of Houston, Hunter Moss of Minneapolis, MN, Kirk Moss and wife Judy of Austin three grandchildren: Bret Bartley and wife Michelle of San Antonio, Jenny and Mandy Moss of Dallas, three great grandchildren: Katelyn and Morgan Bartley, and Paxton Leporis.

The family suggests any donations be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund or to Meals on Wheels.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm today at Resthaven Funeral Home for a visitation. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday July 6, 2013 in Resthaven Memorial Park.
