Elizabeth F Settle

Elizabeth F. Settle, 82, of Lubbock, TX passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. She was born on July, 25, 1934 in Lockney, TX to the late Thomas Earl and Ola Betty Lester. Mrs. Settle married Jim Settle on November 9, 1951 in Lockney, TX.

Mrs. Settle enjoyed making Christmas tree skirts, cooking; especially for the holidays. Jim and Elizabeth also enjoyed traveling; they traveled through every state of the union, and seven provinces of Canada. Most of all Elizabeth loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a very humorous loving heart, an infectious smile, and loved to laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Those left to cherish Mrs. Settle’s memory are her husband of 65 years; Jim, Son; Jimmy Settle, and daughter; Glenda Whitefield. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
