“Boots” was born in Crane, TX on February 27, 1929. Her family moved to Hobbs, NM where “Boots” attended Hobbs High School. After graduating she attended Texas Tech University where she met the love of her life, Hoyle Moss. While at Tech she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
“Boots” and Hoyle were married on March 5th 1949.
“Boots” was a member of the Lubbock’s Junior League for many years and proudly involved in many community activities. “Boots” had many interests: Texas Tech athletic events, gardening, antiques, music, cooking, volunteering, and raising her three boys.
“Boots” is survived by her three boys, Steve and wife Deborah of California, Jobe and wife Mary of Lubbock, Mark of Lubbock, two grandchildren, Michael and wife Sarah of Lubbock, Daniel of Lubbock, great grandchild Ella of Lubbock, and her two brothers, Phillip Jobe and Billy Jobe.
