Erasmo “Eddie” Vega Cadena

Eddie was born in 1943 to Alcadio and Lilia Cadena in Laredo, Texas. He retired from Nabisco.

Survivors are his wife of 55 years Alice "Alicia" Torres Cadena. His son Eddie Cadena, Jr. He has three grandchildren, Zachary, Nicole and Camelia, and many great-grandchildren and Great-great grandchildren. He has one biological brother Ricardo Cadena of Laredo, Texas, and one brother-in-law, and four sister-in-laws of lubbock, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Eddie was very competitive in sports, Racquetball and loved motorcycles. He also played in the nationals for racquetball, but above all else he love his lord and savior. He used to say "The reward that matters is the one in heaven on that final day"

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407, US, on September 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407, US, on October 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
