Ethan Thomas Lord

Ethan Thomas Lord passed away at his home in Lubbock, Texas on Nov. 19, 2021.The youngest of 4 siblings, he was born to a loving family on July 6, 1988, in Odessa, Texas.He grew up enjoying outdoor activities with his family such as fishing and marksmanship.  He was involved in scouting and received his Eagle Scout award in 2005.Ethan graduated from Midland Lee High School in 2006 and then attended Texas A&M to major in Business and Finance. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets where he made many lifelong friends. He also served in the Texas National Guard. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2011.He made good use of his education and was involved in both the petroleum and agricultural industries. He enjoyed helping others accomplish their goals.Ethan had several hobbies including fishing, hunting, archery, spending time with his dog, and riding his horse.He is survived by his father, David, and his mother Susanne Lord (Grover) of Midland, TX; his siblings and their spouses: Isaac (MarNae) of Mountain View, WY; Adam of Midland, TX; and Anna (Spencer) Patterson of Centerton, AR.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Tanner and Seth Lord; Hannah, Luke, Olivia, and Aaron Patterson.A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 6310 114th St, Lubbock, TX on Dec. 3rd, 2021 at 2 p.m.
