Everett was born on December 20,1934 in his family’s farmhouse in Dawson County Texas. He was a graduate of Lamesa High School and retired from Eagle Picher.
Everett married Mary M. Pavey in October of 1956 and the were married over 65 years before her passing.
Everett is survived by his three sons: Eddie and his wife, Sandra; Steven; and Kevin Herman. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
