

Faye Booth Gibson, 82, of Lubbock passed away on April 30, 2014 in Lubbock. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Sunday May 4, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held Monday May 5, 2014 in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Faye was born on January 12, 1932 in Dawson County to George Armour and Blanche (Laramore) Booth. She married James (Jim) Gibson on October 16, 1948.
Faye was a loving and warm person. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was very creative and used those energies toward creating beautiful crochet pieces, blankets, and most recently scarfs. She worked for Dr. Tracy D. Gage for 35 years of her 40 year career as an ophthalmic assistant.
Preceding her in death is her husband, parents, three brothers, Robert, Enoch, and Calvin, one sister Mattie, and one grandson Jackie Dennis North, Jr.
She is survived by one brother, Lee Booth; one sister Lucille Driver ; her two sons, James(Jane), and Vernon Gibson; one daughter Dianna North; one foster daughter Carolyn Sue Herbert; grandchildren, Julie(Jay) Townsend, Jamie(Brooke) Gibson, Brian(Christie) Gibson, Scott Gibson, Melissa ( Tom) Pulse, Rodney( Beverly) North, Brandi( Kelly) Ostrander, Corey (Vickie) North and Suella Norwood; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cassidy, Parker, and Cameryn Townsend, Harper, Miller, and Logan Gibson, Kyla Maverick, Braxtan and Matthew Ostrander, Stephen, Jackilynn and Lillian North, Amanda Brooker, Elizabeth Stanley, Victoria McCarty and Dylan Norwood; and her precious poodle Jacque.
