Faye Gill

Faye Gill, 87, of Lubbock passed away on May 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Faye was born on February 20, 1926 to Roy and Clara Cummins in Gainesville, Texas.

She married Clyde Gill on June 1, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a charter member of Vandelia Church of Christ, and an active member of the Ladies Bible Class. She was a very loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Linda Moss and husband Bob of Breckenridge,TX, Pamela Brand and husband David of Honeoye Falls, NY and Sharon Siebert and husband Mike of Eastland, TX; one son Cirby Gill of Lubbock; sister – in – law; Doris Jorgensen, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Gill, parents, three sisters; Pauline Eklund, Lorene Burgett and Frankie Jones and one infant brother, Roy Cummins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Lubbock Children’s Home, 4404 Idalou Rd Lubbock, TX 79403
