Memorial services for Flo Gibson, 81, of Lubbock and previously of Andrews will be 1:00p.m. Tuesday April 30, 2013 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Flo passed away at home, surrounded by family, on April 27, 2013.
Flo Helen Park was born on March 3, 1932 in Lamesa to Jessie L. and Viola G. (Self) Park. She attended Lubbock High School and then went on to earn her LVN. She was a nurse in Andrews taking care of patients from infants to those in a nursing home. In her spare time, Flo loved creating art work and was a member of the Art Guild of Andrews.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Kenneth Ross Gibson, Janet Daniece Gibson Odom, and Randall Wright Gibson; grandchildren, Amy Collins, John Gibson, Jonathan Chapman, Miriam Gibson Martinez, Raul Gibson, Ben Wright Gibson, Shannon Danielle Odom, Lindsey Laurel (Odom) Plunket; 12 great-grandchildren; and the father of her children, Ross Sterling Gibson.
