Florence was born on September 29, 1916 in Floydada. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and was retired from civil service.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alpha Boothe, her second husband, John Lee Taff, and two sons, Virgil L. Boothe and Steve Taff.
Survivors include her children, Gay Cline, Theresa Bartz, Mary McPhearson, William and John Taff, Debra Watson, and Darlene Wilson; and was blessed with many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren,
