Celebration of Life Service for Frankie “Bobby” Parker, 86, of Lubbock will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Rev. David Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Frankie Jean “Bobby” was born, January 22, 1925 in Hill County, Texas to the late Bud and Alice (Wilson) Lewis. She graduated from West Texas State University (A&M). “Bobby” married Billy Jack Parker in 1941 in Mangum, OK. She taught 3rd grade at Bozeman and Parkway Elementary School and served as counselor at Wheatley and Stubbs Elementary for many years. She was preceded in death by her son, Jack, in 1999 and by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bill; granddaughter, Lori Oxford; grandsons, David Parker and Billy Parker; great grand children, Bryan Oxford, Staci Parker, Meaghan Oxford Hope and Reese Parker.
