Freddie was involved in may organizations; American Legion Post 108, Secretary, Masonic Mason's, Secretary, Pilgrim Baptist Church, Ordained Deacon, Gideons, Lubbock Baptist Association, Layman of the Year, 1994 Church of the Nations, Deacon, Elder.
Freddie's was preceded in death by his parents Theo Ivory and Earlene Toler, one (1) son Astro Ivory, five (5) sisters, Nannie Walker, Pearl Gallington, Dorothy Nell Ivory, Mildred Davis, and Lula Phillips. Four (4) brothers Lucies Ivory, L. H. Ivory, M. T. (Master Theo Ivory) and Richard Ivory.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Patricia Ann, five (5) loving children; Jennifer Ivory Johnson (Charles) Arlington, TX, Lena Ivory Majors, Lubbock, TX, Freddie Ivory Jr. (Cassandra) Lubbock, TX, Shelia Ivory Hatchett, Lubbock, TX and LaToya Angie McFall Miller, Lubbock, TX
Thirteen (13) Grand Children: Jenice Johnson Williams (David), Elvin Majors Jr. (Jasmine), Trac Ivory, Demetras Ivory, Joycelynn Ivory, Jaleesa Ivory, Qwonzell Ivory, Lesley Hatchett Bibbs, Ashley Hatchett, Alexandra Miller, Emari Miller, Kalyssa Miller and Caleb Miller.
Seventeen Great Grandchildren and faithful Brother-In-Law Rodney David Haliburton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Freddie will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Elvin Majors Jr., Qwonzell Ivory, Quincey White Jr., Jimmy McGrew, Trae Ivory, Makhi White, Quincey White Sr, Jerry Phillips, Zack Johnson, Don Nell Phillips, Ronnie Prigg and Bert McWilliams.
