Alfredo “Freddy” Casillas was born on December 24, 1963, in Del Rio, Texas, to Josefa and Cipriano Casillas. He graduated from Del Rio High School in 1981 and soon began a long and dedicated career in the oil field.
Freddy met the love of his life, Lula Ann Bearden, in Rankin, Texas, and the two were married on November 6, 1987. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two children and eight grandchildren, who were the absolute joy of Freddy’s world.
Freddy loved cooking, camping, watching football and westerns, and spending time with his grandkids, family, and friends. He was kind, loving, and always willing to do anything for his wife, kids, and grandchildren — no matter how big or small the request. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, good cooking, sense of humor, and the funny nicknames he had for everyone. Freddy will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Freddy is survived by his wife, Lula; his daughter Adrianne and her spouse Erik; his son Jonathan and his wife Sierra; his granddaughters Madison, Brynlee, Kinsley, and Kyndall; his grandsons Grayson, Hudson, Maverick, and Gunner; his father Cipriano Casillas; his brothers Joe Casillas and his wife Irene, Jamie Casillas and his wife Susie, and Juan Casillas; his sister Patricia Perales and her husband Alvaro; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother Josefa Casillas and his stepmom Dolores “Lola” Casillas.
