He was born on February 24, 1969 in Lubbock, Texas to Amelia and Epimenio Guzman.
Super Gabe attended Lorenzo High School and graduated with the class of 1987.
Gabe then began his career at G & G Transmissions, as co-owner with his brother, business partner and best friend, Gilbert. He married Becky Ramos in 1990 and they had two daughters Skye and Heather.
Super Gabe was a proud member of several softball organizations in Lubbock. He had a passion for softball, classic cars, the Green Bay Packers and loving on his family.
Gabriel will always be remembered for his ability to make everyone around him laugh and feel valued. He always found ways to help others and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Epimenio Sr. and Amelia Guzman, along with his brother-in-law James “Jim” Field. He is survived by his two daughters Heather Guzman and Skye Garcia, his grandchildren EJ, Jaxtynn, and Victory who loved their Grandbro; His siblings that loved him dearly, Gilbert Guzman Jr. and wife Velma Jane Guzman, David Guzman and wife Connie Guzman, Betty Guzman and husband Bud Jimenez, Norma Field, and Ricky Guzman; Also all his nieces and nephews, who loved him so much and he loved them all just the same.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 9, 2024, at 10:00am at Resthaven Funeral Home. His family would like to thank those that have shared their love and support in every possible way. Your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
