Gary Wayne Bowman

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Maegan Bowman; three grandchildren, Ella, Eadyn and Ava Reeder; son-in-law, Cecil Reeder, Jr., Cecil and Dolores Reeder; his aunt Gladys Hughes; cousins, Lita Shaw, Donna Prather and husband, David all of Lubbock, TX. He is also survived by his sister Cheryl Nesmith and husband, Sam of San Antonio, TX, Janna Steen of Taylor, TX; his cousin Sherri Lamar and husband, Michael of Dallas, TX and Roy and Sandra McCullough of Corsicana, TX.

Gary graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, TX where he was co-captain of the Rebel Varsity Football team in 1975. He spent several years working in the oil fields of West Texas and offshore along the Gulf Coast. He later worked many years for Chevron in Waxahachie, TX and Reno, NV as a supervisor for transportation in the manufacture of plastic pipe.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Lubbock, TX with Gary's final resting place at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, TX. Memorial service arrangements are pending.
