

Gary was born on July 4th 1961 in Big Spring TX, to the late Gilbert and Gladys Pachall.
Gary is survived by his daughter Steffany Pachall of Seattle Washington, sister Denise Strawn and her husband Tony of Lubbock, brother Mark Pachall and his wife Teena of Saginaw, TX, and brother Jimmy Pachall and his wife Sarah of Lubbock; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Gilbert, mother Gladys, sister Vicki and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Gary knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and accepted him at the age of 13. Gary attended Redeemer Lutheran and Hope Lutheran churches here in Lubbock.
Gary was a natural born artist. From a very young age he could draw and paint at a very high level. He was often found outside sitting with an artist pad drawing landscape from around his neighborhood. Gary also loved to fish and would go as often as he could. He attended Monterey High school where he participated in The Special Olympics. He won blue ribbons and several gold medals in the events that he competed in. After graduating he worked for Texas Tech and then United supermarkets where he retired. Gary loved his family and was very loyal to them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home with a Graveside Committal Service to follow.
