Gene Francis (Young) Zweig, age 85, born September 20, 1929 in Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of George Washington Young and Ollie Elizabeth Pumphrey, passed away at her Lubbock home Sunday, November 30, 2014. She joins her husband George Melborne Zweig and her eldest son Michael Kent Zweig. She is survived by her older sister Betty Ruthene (Young) Entrekin; her sons Mark Scott Zweig and Ronald Wayne Zweig; her niece Caroline and Max Cordrey of Seattle; her grandchildren Eric, Traci, Marcus, and Hunter; her great-grandchildren Pazliegh, Heston, Lilyana, Scott, Jareth, and Ori Gene. Memorial services for friends and family will be held Thursday December 4, 2014 at 10 am in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
