On December 05, 2014, Bill Unger passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 95. Born on October 09, 1919, in San Angelo, Texas, to Anna Marie Unger and Bruno Robert Unger, he was one of nine children. He was one of the last of the Greatest Generation and served in the Air Force during World War II stateside as a bomber mechanic. He married the love of his life, Wynogene Sudduth on May 24, 1947. He worked in the Unger Brothers body shop and later for the newspaper as a linotype and press mechanic in San Angelo, Big Spring and Lubbock, Texas. He lost his beloved Wynogene on April 7, 2004. He is survived by his two sons; Mark and Steve; his little sister Skeet; and many other relative and friends. He was kind and generous man, and will be greatly missed and remembered by all.
