Funeral services will take place on Thurs. 22 Sep. 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wed. 21 Sep. 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox was a housewife and mother, and served from 1977 – 1978 as Worthy Matron for Abenathy, TX, Eastern Star #877.
She is survived by one son, Bryan Cox; one daughter, Sharon and husband, Larry Turner; three grandchildren: Jody and wife, Erin Turner, Jeffrey Turner, and Amanda and husband, Herb Honaker; five great-grandchildren: Morgan Little, Katelyn & Cole Turner, Taylor Honaker, all of Lubbock, and Austin Cox of Aurora, CO.
