

Funeral services for Glenn Bruce Eubank, 101, will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Glenn was born on October 8, 1911 in Idalou, Texas to Olando Everett and Ofie Alice Evitt Eubank. He grew up on the family farm. He attended Idalou public schools and graduated from Draughon’s Business College. He married Mary Ann Feazelle on September 23, 1933, and lived in the Idalou area 69 years. He was a longstanding member of the Idalou Church of Christ until he moved to Lubbock where he attended the Greenlawn Church of Christ. He was a resident at Carillon until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Mary Eubank, daughter; Fern Searsy, grandson; Chris Searsy, sisters; Ila Cartwright and husband James, Beulah Vandiver and husband Clarence, Zelda Holt and husband Leroy, Geneva Burford and husband Parker and brothers; Perry Eubank and wife Charline, O.E. Eubank and Wife Doris and brother-in-law; D.L. Young .
He is survived by one son; Dr. Glenn Eubank and his wife Clarice, one daughter, Frances Baker and her husband Dr. Deuon Baker, son-in-law; Donald W. Searsy and wife Betty, sister; Vernell Young, 8 grand-children, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Carillon House and hospice of Lubbock for the ongoing generous personal individual loving care given to Glenn.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Children’s Home of Lubbock or Hospice of Lubbock.
