Gloria Faye Maples

Graveside services for Gloria Faye Maples, 74, of Lubbock will be held at 10 am, Monday, June 11, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. She passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in Lubbock. Gloria was born February 16, 1944 in Plainview, TX., to John and Loyce (Couch) Bley. She graduated from Plainview High School and received a Bachelor’s in Psychology/Sociology from Wayland Baptist University. She received her realtor’s license and sold real estate in Plainview for several years. She was a member of Lake Ridge Methodist Church in Lubbock. Gloria married James Lee Maples on May 10, 1977. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Loyce (Couch) Bley and a granddaughter Rebekah Lauren Summers. She is survived by her husband, James Maples, previous husband, Carl Summers; son John Summers and wife Carol; grandson Jacob Summers and wife Ashley and granddaughters, Megan and Lexi Summers.
