Services for Gordon Glen Paulk, 87, of Lubbock, will be at 1 pm on Monday, January 30, 2012 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Mr. Paulk passed away on Wednesday, January 25th.
Gordon was born on September 8, 1924 in Westherford, Oklahoma to Glen Clarence and Carrie Hughes Paulk. He married Mary Edna Blair in Lubbock on November 17, 1942. He was a self employed plumber retired in 1986. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, a daughter, Rose Ann McCoy and great grandson, Austin Quinlan Graves.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Paulk and wife Patricia, and Gerald Paulk and wife Julie, all of Lubbock; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 3-5. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or donor’s favorite charity. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
