Gregoria Salazar Vasquez, age 102, of Pearsall, passed away Monday September 16, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 4, 1917, in Mexico to Bonifacio and Tomasita (Paiza) Salazar. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Domingo Vasquez and her Brother, Silverio Salazar.
Gregoria is survived by her daughters, Rita V. Munoz of Lubbock, Texas, Luisa Salazar Viesca of Pearsall, Texas; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, thirty-five great-great-grandchildren and her 4 great-great-great grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 , in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel in Pearsall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine.
Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock will have a visitation on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21. 2019, at San Ramon Catholic Church in Woodrow, Texas with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Texas.
