

Lupe was born on August 31, 1942, in Waco, Texas, to Roberto and Mary Romo.
Lupe attended Waco High School, marking the beginning of a journey characterized by commitment and achievement.
On October 1, 1964, Lupe joined the United States Air Force, embarking on a distinguished career that spanned over two decades. Lupe began his career as an Air Policeman and would later retire on September 30, 1985, holding the rank of Master Sergeant in the Biomed field. His contributions and leadership were highly regarded and left a lasting impact on those who served alongside him.
On December 27th, 1965, Lupe married the love of his life, Mary Bertine "Tina" Rodriguez. Lupe and Tina went on to welcome their two daughters into the world, and spent the next 60 years side by side, creating memories.
Guadalupe was a faithful member of the Catholic church, and in his spare time he enjoyed collecting rare coins and antiques.
Those closest to Lupe will remember him for his unwavering devotion to his beloved wife, Mary Romo, his sarcastic humor (which he passed on to his daughters and granddaughter), and for being a doting grandfather.
Lupe was preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Mary Romo; his siblings, Mary Alice Ordonez, Joe G. Romo, Roberto Romo Jr., and Barney Romo.
Lupe is survived by his devoted wife, Mary B. Romo; his daughters, Katheryn Sadler, and Eleanor Vassallo; the apple of his eye, his granddaughter, Julie Sadler; and his siblings, Janie Felan, Louisa Olivarez, and Susie Walker.
