Thank you all for the kind words and prayers.  My father was a great man and touched so many peoples lives and he will be missed.  He will live in our hearts, always!!

I'm so sad to hear this news. I worked with Gene for many years and have many great memories of life at JCP with him. He and I traveled together and I recall always having the best meals, drinks and always a fun time! 
R.I.P..... I still hear you saying "NEW ORLEANS", in your Cajun twang! Miss you!

My heart is heavy over hearing this news.  Gene was a wonderful wonderful man who I had the pleasure of knowing and working with for many years.  Always a gentleman who knew how to make your day a little brighter.  Prayers to all the family!!!

I, and many others in the Dallas area would like information regarding service/memorial.  Gene touched all our lives and we'd like to pay our condolences appropriately.
